Great service. Wonderful food. We loved that it was a fun atmosphere but we could still hold a conversation there. Highly recommend it!
Seafood Ramen......Delicious....🍜😀👍
Delicious Korean BBQ hidden in the valley. Great service and comfortable casual dining.
Food is great, friendly staff, clean and good prices.
I order tofu sea food hot pot i didnt get any sea food i git just tofu soup they charge me $20 just fir tofu soup
This neighborhood spot has been here on Topanga for awhile now. If you want to drown in meat AYCE style then you have to go further down Devonshire to Gen-Korean or wait for the Galbi/Pinball joint opens in West Hills next year. (Fallbrook/Vanowen) should be interesting and it's nice to have a little choice in the West Hills, Chatsworth area. Grandma Kim is great for someone that want to get Korean BBq and Tofu and not feel God Awful Bloated afterwards. I had the dinner combo LA Galbi with the tofu hotpot. Combined with the modest amount of bonchon side dishes (no where near as many you would get from Shik Do Rak) it will fill you just quite nicely.
A little bit dingey but superb flavor and I've been eating Korean cuisine for decades
Great Korean food with good service.
I love the food here, the home-y atmosphere, and most of all the wonderful staff. Definitely recommend this spot!
We like a lot going out. Yesterday we arrived in this superb place which friends told us about. We spent a delightful experience there with excellent cooking and a courteous crew and a professional chef. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly return very soon. We warmly recommend.
Food is pretty good here.I've tried 3 dishes here and all were pretty tasty. I think food is overpriced here though and it's the main reason we don't come here that often.
Had a awesome experience in this spot with my son. The food arrived rapidly and the service is just fantastic. Prices are fair.
10/10 in love with this place. They have Naengmyeon in the summer.I didn't think any place in the Valley sells it.The noodles have a good chew and very refreshing.Banchan options include this bean sprouts that I love and a sengchae pickled radish that is addicting.Their hot stone bibimbap was delicious as well. Mild seasoning which is great for those who are not into spicy food.If you're into it, they give you sauce bottles to pour more.Very homey and comforting.
Really good food! Lots of options too.
This place offers fantastic service and yummy menu. The best place around here. The food and drinks came out quickly and the prices were economical. I recommend this place.
The ramen is amazing and the portion is huge. Can't wait to go back.
The food is alright, but not really worth the price. The atmosphere is rather open, quiet, and serene. The wait staff is patient and friendly. The food is in large portions, so I recommend ordering a few and sharing them with your group. If you have a loud group then I don't recommend this location. Its good for a quiet lunch or dinner for a small group or family.
Delicious Koran soups. Loved the beef BBQ.the noodle soup are huge and well seasoned.
Excellent food, kind employees, constantly good character. They charge convenient rates and the food quality is good. Kudos
This spot is awesome! Affordable prices, considerable dishes and the staff members are constantly nice.
I need to condense my review due to time constraints. I ordered a meal from the menu that came with all the mini dishes served with Korean Food. The server informed ne that they can be refilled once. Server was accomodating and the food came out very hot and tasty. I used their metal chopsicks to enjoy thu meal.
Good lunch specials but it little pricey
I loved the food here. Specifically seafood pancakes. Side dishes are simple and tasty.
It's a nice meal. I love all the customer photos on the wall. It's a great place to eat a good meal and relax.
Staff is cold, stoic, and seemed not interested on a Friday night. Food is just about OK. The second starbusnearned due to the generous soup size. The place is too overpriced and does not do justice with "grandma" in the name of the place.
Very nice environment. Foods are super delicious and authentic!
Great Korean traditional food served in large quantities. Good service.
From the first moment you step in that place they give you an agreeable feeling. Very warm crew, it is a nice restaurant to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. delightful meals, specialist chef de cuisine, comfortable pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.
My favorite place to tofu hot pot! Their Boolgogi Hot Pot is a must try - it is sweet and savory at the same time. My favorite to split is their Hot Pot + Korean BBQ Combo. My boyfriend and I get the Hot Pot and Spicy Pork. Delicious food, affordable and feels like home.
Good soon soup and really good ramen
Both times I've ordered Beef Dishes . No beef was added then when you call the restaurant the Lady doesn't speak English so she pretends or really doesn't understand you want your money back. I got a gift card in return , after having the manager call me when she wasn't even at work . Ridiculous that it happened 2 separate times.
Great food good service, needs some remodeling
I love to eat here. The variety of food is endless and delicious. If you're not up for an AYCE kbbq restaurant but still craving Korean food this is the best place to start.
It's decent Korean food, but not outstanding. The service is adequate. I've yet to find Korean food in the LA area as good as what I had when I lived in Chicago. I could say the same for the pizza. In fact, they only food that is better here is Sushi, but I am sure Chicago has upgraded their Sushi since I left it back in 2001.
I love Korean BBQ and when you don't feel like All You Can Eat, Grandma Kim's is perfect.
Very good food. Quick service.
Average Korean food. It is not as good as those in k-town, but it's okay in this area. Lunch special is good for a quick bite for people working around.
Always a great place. if you like your soup hot. it comes out boiling. All of the food has great flavor
Service is good. Vibe a bit awkward. Food is pretty good. Price is average.
Food was great The service was greatBeer super coldThe food was fabulous 😕decor and basic building maintenance, not too good, don't look around Did I tell you that the food was the best?!
I absolutely enjoyed the dishes and customer service, awesome area next to my home. The staff members are always nice. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious food, the broth of the ramen is amazing.
I certainly enjoyed the food and customer service, good location right next to my home. The staff members are always friendly. Will come visit again.
Sweet service. Great food. I went with two other people. We ordered tofu hot pot, vegetable pancakes, pork short ribs, and bulgogi pork glass noodle soup. I love the pancakes and so did the others. I tried the shorts ribs and I am not one for pork but I love the flavor. My friend thought her glass noodle soup was good. The sides were good too! Def a family cozy mom and pop feel to it.
Great restaurant! My wife and I went to Seoul, Korea and had some great food. We couldn't stop talking about how on-point Grandma Kim's is. We will vouch for the fact that you don't need to go all the way to Korea for great authentic Korean food if you have access to Grandma Kim's.
Poor customer service. We came 6/27/20 and asked for a to go menu and the lady told my husband to look on his phone and walked away, so we left to the pho place at the other end of the strip
Great place for when your craving Korean food. Great mom and pop spot.
Came here for lunch on a late Saturday after noon and they have delicious Korean BBQ but the restaurant is a bit dated and it was completely empty when we got there. We ordered the BBQ combos which came with banchans like Kim chi, potato salad, pickled radishes, soy sprouts and pancake along with potato soup and rice. My combo selection comes with tofu soup. Since we were famished we ate almost all of the banchans before our BBQ arrived, the sizzling sound and smell of BBQ meat opened up our appetite again and before we knew it, everything was gone.Price wise is a little on the higher end, portions are big because of the banchan, and you could get them refilled! We used a coupon and it was totally worth it, we just needed to sit still after that. Hostess was also nice but doesn't speak much English
The place is nice, first time having bimibap anywhere, it's not my fav dish. Will come again and try the ramem
After eating all the food from Grandma's Kim to celebrate our 4th of July... I just cant wait to give 5 stars rating.I ordered rice cake, fried chicken and tofu beef boolgogi soup. Its soooo amazing!!! I am Indonesian, and I love it. Not too spicy, and tasty.
